A FINE COPY describing and illustrating all the known members of this beautiful family of birds. Rollers, so called from the way they occasionally roll and turn over in flight, are widely spread over Europe and Western Asia in summer, breeding as far north as the middle of Sweden, but retiring to winter in Africa.
