cover 1868 (28 July) quadruple rate entire letter from Galle to Calcutta, bearing 1867 1d. deep blue, 2d. ochre, 5d. olive-green and 6d. deep brown (2) all cancelled "B" in oval of bars and with two strikes of a firm's oval h.s., Galle Paid c.d.s. alongside the 6d., Calcutta Steamer Letter c.d.s. on reverse; the entire letter with some creasing and other faults though a scarce quadruple rate cover and an attractive four colour franking.
