Lot 525 and 526 both recorked by the Chteau 1986. Excellent appearance. Levels into neck. Lot 527: Original capsule and cork. Slight water-marked label. Level top-shoulder. Originally purchased at a Sothebys sale on 23rd September 1992. Lot 528: Torn label, vintage only partly legible. Level just below top-shoulder. Originally purchased at a Christie's Chicago Sale on February 1992 lot 228
Tasting note: Lovely colour, mahogany edge; overripe gibier bouquet, like an old cedar cigar box, or singed hair. Touch of sweetness, fullish weight and style though fading, still with residual tannin. M.B. (GVWBII)
