TWO CLICHY PATTERNED MILLEFIORI COLOUR-GROUND WEIGHTS

The first with two interlocking quatrefoil garlands, one of claret, pink, yellow and white canes, the other with red, green and white canes enclosing a circlet of pink and green canes and one of claret and white canes, about a claret pastry-mould center, set on an opaque cobalt-blue ground, 3in. (7.6cm.) diam.; the second set with two interlocking trefoil garlands composed of assorted canes in shades of pink, purple, green, yellow and white, each circlet enclosing a large pink and green rose, about a central claret, green, pink and white pastry-mould cane, set on an opaque-turquoise ground, 2.7/8in. (7.3cm.) diam. (2)
