Finely painted in colours with Aurora draped in yellow robes and holding wild flowers in both outstreched hands being chased by Phoebus seated in a chariot draped in red and surrounded by a bevy of beauties, Cupid above with a raised burning torch, the clouds rolling back to reveal a seascape below, within elaborately gilt turquoise and claret surround, named on the reverse--22½in.
