Of rectangular breakfront form, the front and back inset with a central turquoise-ground panel decorated with exotic birds, within a rectangular laurel-cast frame, flanked by a smaller flower-painted panel to each side, the sides with three similar fruit and flower-painted panels, with acanthus-cast volutes to the angles, the top with a pair of drop-in inkwells and concave liner and with a mahogany-lined concave pen tray, on bun feet
