A French ormolu-mounted marble urn, on gilt, walnut and jasperware-inset pedestal
Circa 1890
The urn with frieze cast with music-making putti, the fluted body cast with caryatids and tripod altars, hung with laurel festoons, the spheroid lower body cast with cascading water and with fluted caryatid handles and fluted lower section, on spreading foot with scrolled corner mounts, on a square shaped pedestal, the sides each with a walnut panel inset with a pair of vine-decorated green jasperware plaques, with gilt fluted corners, on square marble-inset base and bracket feet
Overall: 81in. (205.8cm.) high
