With an arched rectangular superstructure crested by urn finials and inset with three copper tondos depicting classically draped maidens centering a raised shelf flanked by offset shelves centering a large copper tondo depicting a Victory over an open niche flanked by cabinets, each highlighted in red and green lacquer flanked by disengaged fluted colonnettes headed by copper medallions depicting Greek philosphers, on baluster-turned feet (altered)--70½in. The offered lot is similar to a cabinet branded 'Herter Bros.' in a private Mid-Western collection. Both cabinets incorporate identical doors with applied colored lacquer and similar répoussé brass tondos.
