(1) Another version, or a copy of the present lot, is in the Municipal Archives, Utrecht (Jaarboek Oud-Utrecht, 1977, p. 99, fig. 4). The Morgenster bastion was constructed in the 16th Century, and demolished in 1840, some ten years after this drawing was done
