A GEORGE III LARGE SILVER COFFEE POT
Maker's mark ID, probably by John Dutton, with a pellet between, 1772
Of baluster form on gadrooned spreading circular foot, the body later chased and embossed with rustic tavern scenes after David Teniers, with partly fluted and beaded curved spout, domed cover similarly chased with beaded baluster finial and fruitwood scroll handle, engraved with griffin crest and coronet, marked under base and on cover (a few old soldered repairs)
