La Fleur des Antiquités...de Paris, by Corrozet, of which at least ten editions were published between 1532 and 1555, was a guidebook and a legendary and rudimentary history of Paris, the first to appear in print. The work was very successful, and complete revisions, greatly augmented, were printed by the author in 1550 and 1561 under the title Les Antiquités...de Paris; they were followed by further expanded revisions by Nicolas Bonfons, his son Pierre Bonfons and Jacques du Breul (see lots --, ---, ----).
