A sampler by Mary Bissaker worked in fresh coloured silks, the centre worked with a green parrot flanked by stylised floral spot motifs and a snail, within a border of stylised strawberries, the top with an alphabet and numerals, the verse "Lord give me wisdom..." above the field, "Yesterday's past..." below, interspersed with stylised floral bands--12 x 16in.
