A Meissen (Marcolini) two-handled oval section urn
the key pattern handles with leaf terminals, moulded with oval panels painted with flowers below richly gilt swags of leaves, painted with scattered sprigs between bands of flowerheads and beads above a stiff leaf band, the foot applied with a band of overlapping oak leaves above a shaped triangular base moulded with drapery swags on three feet, blue crossed swords mark, circa 1790 (cover deficient, stem repaired, some minor chips) -- 21.2cm. high
