Lists names and addresses of prostitutes with candid descriptions of the dangers found therein, for example: "Caroline Heusted or Eustace. No. 19 Thomas-street. The wretch who keeps this horrible brothel lives by the prostitution of her daughter. Need we say more to deter men from entering this hell." Another reads: "Mrs. Whitten. No. 117 Walker-street. If you are so foolish as to enter this infernal abode of infamy, take a revolver with you, it is one of the worst kind of panel houses, the abode of thieves and pickpockets."
