with Archimedes screw mechanism for shelf height adjustment and similar wheel operated system for pitch adjustment; secondary shelf; upper canvas grip; set on castors; a plate to the base reading WINSOR & NEWTON IMPROVED STUDIO EASEL. ALL ARTISTS COLOURMEN & c. -- 95 rising to 122in. (241 to 308cm.) high.
