of rectangular form with canted corners, painted with a bird below a heart, the reverse with a motto, between sprigs of leaves and scrolls, with pewter mount, mid 18th century (small neck crack) -- 16.5cm. high; and a flask and cover, painted with a bird in an oval panel, the reverse with a similar panel, with a pewter mount (minor enamel flakes) -- 14cm. hgih
