A Victorian Scottish 'castle top' card case,
engraved with Edinburgh landmarks: Edinburgh Castle, Holyroodhouse, the High Kirk of St Giles, and the Sir Walter Scott Memorial, in cartouches amid foliate scrolls on engine-turned ground, the reverse with scrolls and vacant central cartouche (erased) by Jas. Nasmyth & Co, Edinburgh, 1851, together with a modern oval jewelry box with tortoiseshell inset cover, engraved 'E.M.R. Christmas, 1931', by Adie Bros., Birmingham, 1927 (lined and loaded), 16oz. weighable silver, the box 15.25cm. wide. (2)
