A walnut double dome bureau cabinet, William and Mary and later
Crossbanded and feather-strung, the upper part with a moulded arched cornice and fitted interior with compartments, arched pigeon holes and four drawers below, enclosed by a pair of ogee arched bevelled mirror panelled doors, the lower part with a sloping fall with book ledge, enclosing a fitted interior with enclosed cupboard between pigeon holes and six drawers with a well below concealed by a slide, containing two short and two long drawers below applied with engraved brass handles and key plate, on bun feet, basically late 17th/early 18th century with extensive alteration and re-newed parts particularly to mouldings and sides, the top of the lower part has signs of where original candle slides were present
