Lot Essay

Pierre-Eloi Langlois (1738-1805) Maitre 1774. The mark CJYM is attributed to Claude Javoy by Nicolay in L'Art et la maniere des ebenistes francais au XVIIIe siecle. It is shown in Compte Francois de Salvertes, Les ebenistes du XVIIIe siecle, where it is discussed.
