The rectangular case engraved overall with foliate scroll designs, coronet handle, solid sliding shuttered rear door, conforming decoration to the mask of the white enamel Roman dial signed E. BOURDELOT A PARIS, blued steel hands and polished steel alarm-setting hand, alarm hand set by pressing button to top of case, chain fusee watch movement with repeat signature to backplate, with trip to barrel movement for alarm below, alarm hammer sounding on sides of case -- 4in. (10cm.) high
