The rectangular case with doors to the sides and movement viewing glass to the top, hinged doors to front and rear for white enamel Roman dials, one with blued steel moon hands (heavy chipping to centre), the other with replaced moon hands and alarm-setting hands, the large single barrel movement with replaced platform lever escapement and pull-wind alarm -- 7in. (19cm.) high
