The foliate swag hung case surmounted by the seated figure of a girl emblematic of the Sciences, the white enamel Roman dial with outside five minutes (two small chips to left winding hole), pierced gilt-metal hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 18in. (47cm.) high; a mahogany striking mantel clock, with arched case, the off white dial (hairline cracks) with visible Brocot escapement to the recessed centre, early 20th century -- 12in. (31cm.) high; and a French brass carriage timepiece with alarm, obis case, replaced escapement, early 20th century -- 4in. (12cm.) high (3)
