The case with arched top, with brass-lined fielded panels to the front and brass tracery sound frets to the sides, fretwork panel to rear door, on part bomb base (strip of moulding lacking to one side) and bun feet, white painted Roman dial, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement ting-tang striking on two gongs, with pendulum holdfast to the backplate -- 17in. (44.5cm.) high
