The case with brass handle to the breakarch top, glazed side panels and with brass pilasters to the front angles, with silk-backed cut brass fret panel to the front, on brass-lined stepped and moulded base and with ball feet, the white enamel Roman dial (restored) with cut steel hands, the twin chain fusee movement (lacking platform escapement) with strike on gong, signed C.
