Of dial form, with moulded bezel and rectangular back box with sliding cover, with part-reeded brass slip to the silvered 8in. diameter dial with outside seconds/minute ring and inside 24-hour ring, signed in the centre Peyer Favarger & Cie. Neuchtel (Suisse), blued steel moon hands, the backplate with blued steel screws and signed on the backplate PEYER FAVARGER & CO. SUCCESS.RS DE M. HIPP NEUCHTEL, SUISSE 20014, mains driven movement with twin electro-magnets impulsing vertically positioned crown wheel -- 13in. (34cm.) diameter
