The seals of agate, chalcedony, chlorite, cornelian and serpentine, each of domed form and pierced for suspension, engraved with motifs including profile human heads, mythological creatures including griffins, a winged horse, a siren, sphinxes, winged stags, recumbent winged bulls, a fish-tailed human, zebus, a zebu and calf, a frontal lion's head, a lion attacking a zebu and nisan emblems, circa 4th-7th Century A.D., 1 in. (2.5 cm.) high max.; and a silver finger ring with oval burnt cornelian intaglio etched with a crescent moon and five stars, circa 2nd Century A.D., .7/8 in. (2.2 cm.) across hoop (30)
