A GROUP OF CYPRIOT VESSELS

Comprising a White Painted Ware barrel-shaped jug, the body at each end with central 'nipple', decorated with concentric circles, hatched diamond motifs, and a ladder pattern on the single strap handle, 8 in. (22 cm.) high; a Bichrome Red Ware bowl on stem foot, twin handles, decorated with 'swastika' motifs divided by vertical bands of parallel lines; another bowl similar, repaired, 3.18 in. (8 cm.) and 3.7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) high respectively; a Bichrome Ware dish with pierced twin lug handles on the rim, decorated with concentric bands and lines; and another shallow bowl similar, Black-on-Red Ware, on ring foot, 6.1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) and 7 in. (19.7cm.) across handles respectively (5)
