A Carved Grey Agate Bottle
1820-1900
Of rounded shape, the translucent stone carved in low relief on one side with two birds chirping on a prunus branch, with flowerheads falling to a stream below, and a fourteen-character cursive inscription to the other, stopper
The inscription reads: Hao Niao Zhi Tou Yi Peng You Luo Hua Sui Mian Yin Wan Zhan, which can be translated as "Good birds on the branches are friends, Flowers drop on water also good article (together)"
