Of rounded shape, carved in minimal relief with a branch of plum blossoms above the characters Xiang Xui followed by a seal reading Zi ? (presumably Zigang) to one side, and plain to the other, finely cut lion-mask fixed-ring handles to the narrow sides, the amber of attractive semi-translucent tone, stopper

Lot Essay

Xiang Xui can be read as: 'Fragrant Snow', a reference to plum blossoms falling.
