For another bottle of very similar type with two birds on rockwork to one side and similar handles to the narrow sides, also carved through a green overlay to an opaque white ground, see Sotheby's, New York, 1 June 1994, lot 627.

For another attributed to the hand of Li Junling and carved in a similar fashion, see Robert Kleiner, Chinese Snuff Bottles in the Collection of Mary and George Bloch, London, British Museum, 1995, Catalogue, p. 261. no. 173.
