The head of a woman - a study

This may be a preparatory sketch for the head of Eve in Floris's Adam and Eve mourning the death of Abel in the Staatliche Gemldegalerie, Kassel (see C. van de Velde, Frans Floris (1519/20-1570) Leven en Werken, Brussels, 1975, II, pl.74).
