A VERY RARE work taken from Crescentiis with a fine large woodcut combining hunting and angling scenes. BL STC German Books 1455-1600 p. 908 lists two earlier editions published at Stassburg and Augsburg in 1530 and ?1530. Schwerdt records both the 1530 Augsburg edition and the present edition, describing the latter as the second edition, "even rarer than the first ... the fine woodcut on title page is quite different from the one in the first edition, but probably also by Weiditz." Schwerdt II, p. 293.
