Xenocratis de alimento ex aquatilibus, Zurich: [no printer], 1559. 2 works in one volume as issued, 8, full-page woodcut on c8, woodcut historiated initials (e3 with clean but severe internal tear affecting 10 lines of text, some dampstaining), early calf, both covers with gilt-stamped coat-of-arms, paper spine label (worn, particularly on spine which is repaired at foot but with piece missing at head), g.e. Provenance: unidentified arms on covers; partially erased 1698 English ownership inscription on front blank; "Thos. Carr his booke Boughton Malhearbe in Kent" (18th-century ownership inscription on title verso).
