Provenance: 'Alexandri Magnocaballi IC. Nouocomensis' (cropped ownership inscription at foot of title). A detailed inscription in Latin on the front free endpaper indicates that the copy may have belonged to Giovio himself, remaining in the library of his descendants, the Magnocaballis, until it was sold in 1803.
