OF GREAT RARITY, this is "one of the first of the long line of British illustrated sporting books" (Hodnet Francis Barlow p. 106). The 12 plates had previously been published under the title Severall Ways of Hunting, Hawking and Fishing in 1671. The last three have as their subject "Angling", "River fishing" and "Salmon fishing". W & S p. 23; Petit 149.
