With black lacquer ground; decoration in gold and silver togidashi-e; compartments and risers gold nashiji; shoulders and rims gold lacquer; signed on the side in seal form in red hiramaki-e Shiomi Masanari
On one side two egrets in a stream with reed-beds on either bank; on the reverse another egret flies across the stream
