A George III matched five-piece tea and coffee service,
with bright-engraved decoration and pricked borders, comprising: a vase-shaped coffee pot on a shaped pedestal foot with a double domed cover and urn finial; a teapot of shaped oblong form with a flat base and domed cover; a milk jug; a swing handled sugar basket on an oblong pedestal foot with incurved corners; and an oval teapot stand, all engraved to match with shield cartouches, vacant, by George Smith & Thomas Hayter, 1802, (the maker's mark on the cream jug lost in engraving), 60oz.
