A George II kettle on stand,
with spirit burner, the kettle with a leather insulated handle, an ivory knop finial and a melon fluted body chased around the upper third with husks and festoons of flowers, and engraved with a coat of arms *, the three legged stand on shell feet with openwork festoons of flowers and tied ribbons in between, (burner with detachable cover), by John Chartier, 1735 - 35cm high, 68oz.
* Arms of Price with Cleveland in pretence for Francis Price of Bryn-y-Pys c. Flint and Castle Lyons Ireland who married Alice, daughter and heiress of John Cleveland of Birkenhead, Cheshire.
