A related kang table but raised on pads, from the Sir John Addis collection, now in the Victoria and Albert Museum, is illustrated by Craig Clunas in 'What is Chinese Furniture?', and reproduced in Chinese Furniture: Selected Articles from Orientations 1984-1994, Hong Kong, 1996, p. 25. Refer, also, to the table with very similar decoration, and raised on pads included by Grace Wu Bruce in the exhibition, Ming Furniture, Rare Examples from the 16th and 17th Centuries, London, 14 - 26 June 1999, no. 7.
