The silvered chapter ring centering a C-scroll, fruit basket, and pagoda-engraved dial pierced with a false pendulum aperature and set with elaborately blue-steeled hands, below a silent strike and second dial, flanking a plate engraved COLLINS Margate, within gilt-scrolled spandrels, the half-hour pull-repeat movement striking one bell attached to the foliate-engraved backplate, the stepped caddy hood with pineapple finials above an arched later glazed door with gilt-scrolled spandrels, the sides with pierced sounding boards, the back set with a grill
