A silver and enamel-mounted leather Desk-folio
marked K. Faberg with Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1908-1917, with scratched inventory number 16813
Rectangular, the beige morocco upper cover applied with a shaped rectangular plaque chased and engraved with stylized birds and floral and foliate sprays in Art Nouveau style, with with white opaque enamel pellets, partly with pale blue and green ground, the top roundel with applied Imperial double-headed eagle, the central cartouche with the crowned Cyrillic initials 'IMT' for the Imperial Marinskii Theater, the lower cover with four feet, the interior and blotter lined with cream moir silk, marked on mount, in original velvet and silk-lined wooden presentation case, the glazed cover stamped on border in Russian 'K. Faberg Moscow St. Petersburg Odessa' with Imperial warrant
