A rare parcel-gilt and silver-mounted bowenite Lamp
marked Faberg, workmaster Ivan Rappaport, St. Petersburg, circa 1890, with scratched inventory number 47685
The tapering fluted bowenite body with baluster shaped socle with laurel-leaf rim between fluted and beaded rims on circular bowenite base, the bud light fitting on a raised fluted neck emanating from an acanthus leaf rim with long interlaced gilt suspended tied laurel swags, the shade surmounted by an openwork elaborated raised cover decorated with a large rim with scrolling foliage on stippled ground and laurel leaf tied from a pine cone finial
