Baluster on an oval foot, with beaded borders, the body bright-cut engraved with ribbon-tied floral garlands, the scroll handle applied with beading, the helmet-form hinged cover with similar decoration and engraved with a crest, marked on foot rim, also marked under cover with Brazilian control mark for assay master Manuel Eustquio de Figueiredo, Bahia, Brazil (de Almeida BR-7)
