Maker's mark of Robert Hennell III, London, 1870
Islamic-style, comprising coffee pot, teapot, open sugar bowl and cream jug; each baluster on a circular beaded foot, the body chased and repouss overall with lobes and scrolls against a matted ground, one side with vacant cartouche, the scroll handle with ivory insulators and similar decoration, surmounted by a hinged domed cover with a baluster finial, each marked under bases, on covers, finials and on pot handles, also with hash mark with arrow terminals attributed to the retailer Hancocks & Co. (see lot 216)
