Oblong, on four foliate feet, the frame with gadrooned border and two snake-form bracket handles, supporting six basket-work egg-cup holders with rope-twist borders, with six rope-twist spoon-holders between, the central foliate handle surmounted by a caduceus finial, the six part-fluted egg cups with gilt interiors, marked under base, on basket frame, and on cups, also stamped 621 under handle and on cups
