Maker's mark of John Wakelin and Robert Garrard I, London, 1799
Oval with gadrooned rim and two reeded bracket handles with foliate joins, the field engraved overall with dots and with a border of bright-cut scrolling foliage, the center engraved with a coat of arms, crest and motto within a rococo cartouche surrounded by a tied acorn and leaf wreath, marked on reverse
