Lot Essay

One coat-of-arms is that of the Kings of Greece as borne by Georges I (1845-1913), or Constantin I (1868-1923). The second coat-of-arms is that of Smith-Cocks; the trays were probably a gift to a member of the Smith-Cocks family.
