Maker's mark H Crowned (Jackson, rev. ed., p. 93, line 12), London, 1557
Baluster-form, mounted on a circular foot with scalloped border and stamped fluted base, the neck mount engraved with arabesques and strapwork, the hinged cover repouss and chased with masks and fruit, engraved with contemporary initials RB with knot between, with bifurcated fruit and foliage thumbpiece, marked on neck and under cover
