Perhaps originally from the base of a seated statue and subsequently reworked into a mortar, in sunk relief, one edge with clear traces of the queen's cartouche and the remains of a two-feathered headdress belonging to her now lost image, another edge with a hieroglyphic inscription identifying her as "the great wife of the king," "given life eternally," 15 1/2 in. (39.35 cm.) high
