Each round recessed top with curved leaf-carved edge above a Solomonic column stem carved with leaves near the top and entwined with a leafy vine, above a gadrooned molding and recessed base with leaf-carved edge, on paw feet, each stamped 22G 302, largely redecorated

A similar pair of white-painted and parcel-gilt torcheres with foliate-carved Solomonic column stems and paw feet from the Estate of the late Giuseppe Rossi was sold Sotheby's London, 10 March 1999, lot 223 (4,830).
